The Red Tent Global is a vital portal for sharing lost and timeless wisdom necessary for women to activate and synchronize their intentions to catalyze personal, communal, and global transformation.
Our Founder
The Red Tent Global was founded by Greta Grace, a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, Intimacy Coach, and Sexual Educator. Greta H. Grace has been in practice for over 25 years. She has been honored to host Red Tent Los Angeles for over three years in her living room. Her Masters’ Degrees in Psychology and Divinity have extended to an education that includes the lifelong study of Modern Psychology, Ancient Wisdom and Sacred Sexuality.
Women have been gathering since the beginning of time to share their stories and secrets, their laughter and tears, their heartaches and celebrations. It is in our feminine nature to provide strength to one another through the passageways of life such as birth, menstruation, marriage, and death. The Red Tent Global is a global nonprofit nourishing and resourcing women of all ages, races, cultures and creed.
The inspiration for this non profit emerged from Anita Diamant’s 1997 novel, The Red Tent. She wrote about women’s voices and experiences that were often untold during biblical times. In response to the novel, a contemporary Red Tent Movement emerged and local Red Tents have sprung up around the world.
Our hope is that these resources help women slow down and listen to the wisdom of their wombs as a blessing, and celebrate their bodies as beautiful temples of creation. We educate women about feminine sexual health and wellness so they can live as fully as their hearts can imagine. We acknowledge and celebrate each other’s superpowers and encourage self-sufficiency so we can be empowered to live out our dreams and purpose.
In the Red Tent Manifesto, we heal the voices of comparison, competition and criticism that have separated us from our sisters and invalidated our collective voices as women. In its place, we harness the spirit of cooperation and community, solidifying our sacred sisterhood to create a world that empowers women like never before. In this way, we return to the wise use of power for the benefit of all.
